Before we commit to working together, I will do a free sample of the first three pages of your book! That way you can be confident that we'll be a good match before I start editing for you officially.
For every 35k words, copy editing or proofreading will take about a week.
Proofreading
For texts that have already been copy edited, mainly correcting spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors

Light Copy Editing
Consists of grammar correction, sentence rephrasing, ensuring internal consistency
~ $0.005/word
Heavy Copy Editing
A more intensive version of light copy editing, with the addition of some line editing (improving the text at the paragraph level)
